Our History

The BARNEY'S FOUNDATION CORPORATION program arose from the need to offer young people a comprehensive sports training program that provides them with a space for support and growth outside of school hours.

This program aims to ensure equitable and sustainable human development, providing participants with the necessary tools to build a more promising future.

Since many young people have free time after school, in some cases, this time can be used in harmful activities such as violence, vices or addictions, which generates negative habits that affect their well-being.

For this reason, the foundation offers a safe, inclusive and stimulating space where young people can use their time productively, fostering personal growth and keeping them away from possible risks. In addition, for parents, it represents the peace of mind of knowing that their children are in an environment that promotes their development.

Our Mission

Our program functions as a complementary after-school activity that seeks to propel young people towards a prosperous future, based on a social development approach that makes the dream of a balanced and healthy life a reality. Through this program, participants will acquire the necessary tools to achieve their aspirations and generate positive transformations in their lives. We are a non-profit organization based in Sunnyvale and Campbell, California, committed to the holistic well-being of youth.

Objectives

To promote the integral development of young people through the practice of sports.

To raise the level of youth participation in soccer in the State of California.

Ensures that all young people, regardless of their socioeconomic background, have access to sports.

To use sports as a tool for the formation of values and principles in order to instill social responsibility.
